I hope everyone’s been having a great week. It’s almost Friday =)
I’ve officially been here for two weeks now, and I'm convinced what I will learn here in one semester is more valuable and tangible than what I could learn in a classroom.
If you are interested in the PRinciples internship position please feel free to ask me any questions you may have regarding the position, responsibilities, or application. I would be more than happy to answer any questions I can, and I would love to hear from you.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Karen

I am very excited today because I'm working in the intern office for the first time this afternoon! It's hard to put into words how nice it is, I feel extremely lucky.
Last week I began searching for grants for Katie's Project, which I am continuing today. For those of you that are unaware of what Katie's Project is, it was inspired by one girls school project and has been kept alive by Kathy Foxworth. The mission of Katie’s Project is to give boys and girls the opportunity to attend milestone events that require formal attire. They provide formal wear at no charge to boys and girls that qualify.
For anyone who is interested in learning more about the organization or donating go to katiesproject.org
I hope you all like the new design for the blog!
Sincerely,
Karen

I hope everyone had a great holiday and happy New Year!
Let me first introduce myself and tell you how excited and honored I am to be selected as the PRinciples intern for the Spring 2011 semester.
My name is Karen Pavlick and I'm a senior at Coastal Carolina University, majoring in Marketing and Communication. I will be graduating in May and hope to start career in public relations and/or marketing shortly thereafter.
I would like to thank Megan, the PRinciples intern from this fall for all the hard work she dedicated to this program. You are truly missed Megan and we wish you the best of luck with your internship in Florida.
Today is my first day and I've been here for 2 hours and 33 minutes so far and I love every second of it. I honestly believe that there is so much value in doing an internship, and to have the opportunity to do one with Marketing Strategies, Inc. is a blessing.
Throughout this semester I will continue to keep you updated on all of my internship experiences and activities. I look forward to sharing them with everyone.
Until next time,
Karen
