It's Michelle again!
My goal while I am here is to update this blog at least once a week and post the new stuff I learn and get to do!
While I was in school I had one class (PR Strategies) that I believed was one of the few classes in my whole college career that would help me in the "real world." I couldn't be more grateful for that class right now. We worked on marketing and PR campaigns, which is pretty much exactly what I'm doing here at Marking Strategies, Inc.
Last week I started working with Sarah on the Myrtle Beach Dining group. More specifically, a campaign to pitch to the Japanese Steakhouse Kono. I did a lot of research on Kono's competition and how to help promote their new $5 lunch special. Now I am working on ways for them to better improve their social media activity.
Last week I also began working on AdQuiv which is a way for us to keep track of how much press and advertising a client gets on the internet, papers, and television and through a formula give them a dollar amount of how much that exposure is worth.
I'm still learning so much and still loving what I am doing. I will make sure to keep you posted!
Until next time,
Michelle :)
